That's fine! From my dealings with other transformative artists, they just want to know. If you put up a BP that says, "I really can't let go, so I'mma need to say...no." At least everyone knows. It's the Dance of Permissions and steeling oneself for rejection or acceptance that everyone wants to avoid, tbh.
