To pod, or repod ?

Doing a listen through on only the second podfic I’ve done and… I think I might have to redo. Only because it’s a fic that I REALLY like, and I think it would be the first for the particular fandom. But it’s — it’s just too close, atm, tbh. I think I’ll do another fic by the same author that I like. So… see you this weekend for the podfic marathon peeps.

one day later...

I’m still on two minds re: this podfic, tbh. On one hand, I want to slap a notice on this podfic (only the SECOND ONE I’ve ever done) and say, THAR BE DRAGONS because there are a few background noises, and one inadvertent loop (LOOOOL), but it’s a lot better than my first effort.

On the other hand, it might be the first and only podfic in this particular fandom (not footie RPF, I’ve done about three so far in this particular fandom and I have at least three lined up to podfic), and I do like the story. Also, in the space of three fics later, there has been marked progress, and I know I could do a better job. But - I have other fics lined up and I have a parcel of time for said fic before I have to shift my attention to other things. Soooo… I am falling back on doing another fic by this author instead of going back over old ground. We will see.
