Permissions from authors I wanted for the stories I wanted, and I’m good.

I’ve also gotten them to think about putting permission statements on their profile (with what they are comfortable with) in terms of their fic. Two are fully committed to the concept, which I’m pleased and surprised by. The third one, I didn’t expect them to say yes (they are very skittish with their work and fannish online presence) so I was thrilled to bits when I got their permission.

Of course, a podficcer has told me that sometimes, you can like a story but it might not suit your reading/performance style, but honestly, these are just stories that I’m working on. If they aren’t good and if my efforts aren’t improved enough to post, I won’t and that’s fine too. Each writer has done about what, five stories? So I have fifteen I can work through to sharpen my own skill sets.
