Okay, this is getting markedly easier. Cut for easier scrolling past.

• I know how to include separate tracks retroactively, and I think I’m going to go for a shot at layering.
  I can record as I go. As in, read, delete offending line and, read again.


• Sound patches (when a line is said badly) can be made and spliced.


• I can record this fic through my headphones, which is good. Because recording it in the open air - I have hardwood floors, no carpet and the front room faces a busy road. I do it through the headphones, this eliminates all of that


• It seems I prefer to edit as I go on, especially when it comes to mouth noises and tripping over words.
  I will have to slow down my reading. Snapping fingers as mistakes are made is fine


• In order to cut down on paper rustling, I’m reading from the screen of my phone. Of course, I have to turn off all Whatsapp notifications.


• I cannot read my own fic, tbh. So I’m going to be one of those podficcers seeing if people have blanket permissions for fic that I like.

The idea is to get this fic recorded (This is Football; it’s my own fic so I can treat it badly and not feel terrible ). It is 3.000 words long with marked transitions. Technically, it should be easy, but ehhh.
