language learning

I've promised myself that I'll be focusing on my target language this year, and a bit of focus is having to do at least two hours a day (I'm working up to three hours).
So far, I've realised that I can't study more than an hour - tops (talking to myself via Dr Pimsleur; of all the language apps and self-learning - this programme works for me). As well as doing my writing entries and textbook learning.
So I'm trying to do the 100 hours rule1 as well as deliberate practice and go from there.
My goal is to be able to speak about football for five minutes in my target language, focusing on indicative tenses mostly, and some subjunctive.
1 For most disciplines, it only takes one hundred hours of active learning to become much more competent than an absolute beginner.
