Sat down this morning, watched how professional audio readers go about breathing while reading and decided to change up my reading/breathing techniques for a bit. The audio is so much better and smoother. I mean, there are too many gaps in spaces, but I can make them shorter.

After a lot of fiddling around (with the cover, FFS, I mean, for real?), I’ve created my first audiobook!

I mean, granted, the font is terrible, the colours are wonky AF, and it gilds the lily of this photo I’ve all but stolen… But listen, you can’t beat free. And this is supposed to be a bloody hobby.

Status: I just have three more fics (one 7k and two 14k) to podfic and post and move on.

After some reflection, I think I’ll take my time with the 30 k fic. I’ve downloaded Audacity and damning myself to another learning curve, tbh. *RESIGNED SIGH*

But GarageBand and I need a break from each other for the minute.
